RETURNS AND WARRANTY POLICY FOR FLUSHPLATES.COM

This policy enforces a strict No Returns, No Cancellation, and No Refunds structure. It is governed by and shall be read in conjunction with our comprehensive Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) and abides by UK consumer law. By submitting payment, you expressly agree to these conditions.

SECTION 1. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

1.1 Binding Order: Due to the immediate procurement of new hardware and the scheduling of workshop resources for your bespoke work, all orders are considered binding and non-cancellable upon receipt of payment. 1.2 Statutory Exemption (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013): The standard 14-day "cooling-off" period and right to cancel do not apply to your contract. This is because our products are made to the consumer’s specifications and are clearly personalised (Regulation 28(1)(b)). You acknowledge that you have no right to cancel your order once payment has been made. 1.3 No Refunds: All payments for bespoke products and finishing services are strictly non-refundable.

SECTION 2. RETURNS (STRICTLY NO RETURNS)

2.1 Final Sale: All sales of bespoke finished items are considered Final Sale. 2.2 Returns for Credit/Refund: We do not accept returns for the purpose of a refund or exchange. This includes instances of "change of mind," "aesthetic mismatch," or "ordering the incorrect model for your cistern." It is your responsibility to ensure the hardware ordered is compatible with your plumbing system before purchase.

SECTION 3. WARRANTY AND REMEDIAL SERVICE

Our obligations under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (CRA) regarding goods of satisfactory quality are fulfilled through our 1-Year Workmanship Warranty. This entitles the client to a free remedial service (re-finish), not a refund.

3.1 Warranty Coverage: If the custom finish application fails due to an error in our process (e.g., peeling or loss of adhesion) within 12 months of dispatch, you may submit a Warranty Claim. 3.2 Exclusions: This warranty does not cover:

  • Fair wear and tear, surface scratches, or "swirl marks" from use.

  • Damage caused by chemical cleaners, bleach, or abrasive materials.

  • Subjective dissatisfaction with the finish tone or its "match" to other fixtures. 3.3 Exclusive Remedy: If a claim is verified, our sole obligation is to RE-FINISH the item to the agreed specification at no cost to the client. This is the exclusive remedy provided. 3.4 Shipping for Warranty Claims: If the claim is verified following our inspection, we will cover reasonable shipping costs for the return and re-dispatch of the item.

SECTION 4. CONTACT FOR WARRANTY CLAIMS

4.1 Initiation: To initiate a claim, you must email sales@flushplates.com with your Order Number and detailed photographic evidence of the alleged defect. 4.2 Authorisation: No items should be sent to us without a Warranty Claim Authorisation (WCA) number. Items sent without authorisation will be refused.
