RETURNS AND WARRANTY POLICY FOR FLUSHPLATES.COM

This policy enforces a strict No Returns, No Cancellation, and No Refunds structure, is governed by and shall be read in conjunction with our comprehensive Terms and Conditions (T&Cs), and abides by UK consumer law. By accepting our quote and submitting payment, you expressly agree to these conditions.

SECTION 1. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY (STRICTLY NON-CANCELLABLE AND UK LAW EXEMPT)

1.1 Binding Order: Due to the immediate allocation of resources, materials, and workshop scheduling for your bespoke work, all orders are considered binding and non-cancellable upon the successful acceptance of our quote and receipt of payment.

1.2 No Right to Cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 Exemption): The standard 14-day "cooling-off" period and right to cancel granted under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 do not apply to your contract. This is because the service involves the supply of goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalised (Regulation 28(1)(b)). Therefore, you have no right to cancel your order or service at any time after payment has been made.

1.3 No Refunds: All payments for the bespoke finishing service are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances.

SECTION 2. RETURNS (STRICTLY NO RETURNS)

2.1 Final Sale: All sales of the bespoke finishing service and any bespoke finished physical items (e.g., baths, plates) are considered Final Sale.

2.2 No Returns: We maintain a strict No Returns Policy for the purpose of receiving a refund. We will not accept the return of any item supplied by the client for the bespoke service, or any new item purchased from us that has undergone the bespoke finishing process.

SECTION 3. REMEDIAL SERVICE UNDER WARRANTY (3-YEAR GUARANTEE)

The only exception is a claim under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (CRA) for goods that are not of satisfactory quality, which we fulfil through our 3-Year Workmanship Warranty. This entitles the client to a free remedial service (repair or re-finish), not a refund.

3.1 Warranty Claim: If the custom coating application demonstrably fails due to an error in our finishing process (not fair wear and tear, chemical damage, or misuse) within 36 months (three years) of dispatch, the client may submit a Warranty Claim.

3.2 Inspection and Remedy: If the claim is verified, our sole obligation under the T&Cs is to REPAIR or RE-FINISH the item to the agreed standard at no further cost to the client. This is the exclusive remedy offered under the CRA after the initial 30-day period.

3.3 Shipping for Warranty Claims: If the claim is verified, we will cover reasonable shipping costs for the return and re-dispatch of the item.

SECTION 4. CONTACT FOR WARRANTY CLAIMS

4.1 Initiation: To initiate a Warranty Claim, please email [Your Warranty Claims Email Address] with your Order Number and detailed photographic evidence of the alleged defect.

4.2 Authorisation: We will provide a Warranty Claim Authorisation (WCA) number and instructions for shipping the item back for inspection.
